Return Policy

 

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you're not, you may return your item within 30 days of delivery—this means we must receive the returned item within 30 days of the original delivery date.

If an item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the part and packaging for a damage claim with the carrier. Damaged or defective items must also be returned within 30 days.

Please contact us before returning any item.
Do not return items to the address on the original packaging. You must request return instructions at info@carpartsource.com. Unauthorized returns or returns to the wrong address may be delayed or denied.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fees

  • If you change your mind or ordered the wrong part, you are responsible for return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
  • If we sent an incorrect or defective part, we will provide a prepaid return label after verifying the issue (mechanic documentation or photos may be required).
  • Returned parts must be in the exact condition received, unaltered and undamaged, with all original components included.

Order Cancellations

Order cancellations requested more than 2 hours after purchase may incur a 20% restocking fee, even if the item hasn’t shipped. This covers labor, packaging materials, and non-refundable transaction fees. If the item has shipped, you must follow the standard return process.

Important Return Guidelines

  • Do not refuse delivery or return to sender. This will delay processing and result in shipping charges plus a restocking fee.
  • You are responsible for proper packaging and meeting the carrier’s return requirements—even when using a prepaid label.
  • Refunds cover parts only, not labor.
  • Refunds are issued within 2–7 business days of receiving your return. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the credit.

How to Start a Return

Email info@carpartsource.com with your full name, order number, and reason for return. We will respond within 2 business days with instructions.

Return Eligibility Notes

  • Items must be in resellable condition, unless returned due to defect.
  • Items missing original components or packaging may not qualify for a refund.
  • If your return is denied, we’ll notify you via email. You will have 30 days to request the item be shipped back to you (at your expense). If no arrangements are made, the item will be discarded or recycled.
